The Story

SME treasury teams do not stop moving money when they leave the desk. MoneyGate had proven its web platform for global B2B payments in Cyprus and across SME and e-commerce clients. The gap was mobile: business users expected SEPA, SWIFT, and foreign exchange on the phone with the same audit trail and security posture they had on web.

Building mobile as a thin wrapper on web APIs would not survive regulatory scrutiny or user trust. Leadership needed parity on complex payment flows, identity controls, and transaction logging, delivered on a timeline that matched commercial momentum on web.

Our approach

We built a React Native banking app that extended MoneyGate's web capabilities without duplicating risk surface. Authentication, SEPA and SWIFT workflows, and FX operations were implemented as first-class mobile journeys with audit-grade processing shared across channels.

  • React Native app with web-parity B2B payment flows on iOS and Android
  • SEPA, SWIFT, and foreign-exchange workflows for SME operators on mobile
  • Secure identity and authentication layer aligned to regulated environments
  • Audit-grade transaction processing with consistent logging across web and mobile

Results

MoneyGate customers manage international payments and financial operations from a secure mobile app. The channel business users actually use between desk sessions now matches web on compliance and capability.

  • Mobile parity on core B2B payment and FX workflows
  • Audit-ready transaction trails across web and mobile channels
  • Secure authentication designed for regulated financial operations
  • Faster adoption among SME users who operate primarily from mobile
