Eight practices

We do eight things. All of them well.

↘ What we offer

Modernization, AI implementation, data infrastructure, and operations — delivered by senior engineers who stay until the system runs.

Booking projects — Q4 2026

01

AI-Led Legacy Modernization

Modernize critical systems without unnecessary disruption — using AI as an engineering aid, not a silver bullet.

Includes

  • Architecture assessment

Dependencies, risk, and what is safe to change.

  • AI-assisted analysis

    Codebase documentation and characterization.

  • Incremental modernization

Refactoring, APIs, and migration in controlled steps.

  • Handover documentation

Technical ownership your team can run.

02

Enterprise AI Implementation

Move promising AI initiatives from experimentation into practical, measurable deployment.

Includes

  • Feasibility assessment

Use cases, data readiness, and success criteria.

  • Implementation planning

    Architecture, integrations, and sequencing.

  • Validation & pilots

Prove the path before full production spend.

  • Production deployment

Ship, measure, and hand over with documentation.

03

AI-Ready Data and Knowledge Infrastructure

Make enterprise information usable, accessible, and dependable for AI systems.

Includes

  • Data readiness

Quality gaps, sources, and access requirements.

  • Ingestion pipelines

    Documents, extraction, and transformation.

  • Retrieval infrastructure

    Search, reranking, and source attribution.

  • Quality monitoring

    Lineage, controls, and operational ownership.

04

Intelligent Operations Engineering

Reduce manual processing and operational friction through intelligent engineering.

Includes

  • Process analysis

    Volumes, exceptions, and friction points.

  • Document intelligence

    Classification, extraction, and reconciliation.

  • Workflow integration

Wire into the tools operators already use.

  • Human review controls

Approval paths where judgment still matters.

05

Predictive Intelligence and Decision Systems

Improve forecasting and operational decisions using historical data and validated predictive models.

Includes

  • Data suitability

    Historical data assessed before modeling.

  • Model development

    Forecasting, classification, anomaly detection.

  • Validation & backtesting

    Prove performance against representative data.

  • Workflow integration

Models in the decision path your team runs.

06

Enterprise AI Reliability and Governance

Measure AI quality, improve reliability, and establish controls for responsible deployment.

Includes

  • Evaluation baselines

Quality criteria and failure modes that matter.

  • Regression automation

Benchmarks that catch drift before release.

  • Version tracking

Model and data lineage for auditability.

  • Release reporting

Controls leadership can see before go-live.

07

AI Infrastructure and Performance Engineering

Improve the speed, cost, and reliability of AI workloads.

Includes

  • Performance baseline

Latency, cost, and throughput as they stand.

  • Workload profiling

    Bottlenecks in serving and infrastructure.

  • Serving optimization

    Batching, caching, quantization where appropriate.

  • Verified comparison

Before/after measured — not promised early.

08

Computer Vision and Industrial Intelligence

Apply visual intelligence to inspection, identification, and industrial processes.

Includes

  • Feasibility assessment

Visual task, data quality, and success criteria.

  • Detection & classification

    Inspection, identification, defect detection.

  • Model evaluation

    Results against representative operational data.

  • Operational integration

Wire vision into the workflows already running.

The approach

How we work →

Small, senior, and impatient with theater. Engagements are short. Systems ship. You won't find a seventy-slide AI roadmap waiting for you on Monday morning.

  • 01 — Small teams

Two to four senior AI and systems engineers per engagement. Partners lead the work. No farming out to people you'll never meet.

  • 02 — Short loops

Engagements run long enough to do real work and short enough that nobody loses momentum — measured against production outcomes.

  • 03 — Outputs, not artefacts

We ship systems — models, pipelines, workflows, handover. Decks are a means to an end. Usually a short one.

How we engage

Three ways to work together.

Most AI engineering engagements are scoped and fixed. Open-ended retainers incentivise the wrong things.

  • Sprint

    A focused problem, solved fast.

Two to four weeks. A single defined output — a feasibility assessment, a modernization plan, a validated pilot path. No bloat, no extensions.

    2 – 4 weeks

    Scoped fixed

  • Engagement

    A bigger challenge, properly resourced.

Six to twelve weeks. Multi-practice work — modernization and data, implementation and governance, vision and operations. Where the real complexity lives.

    6 – 12 weeks

    Scoped fixed

  • Advisory

    Ongoing access to senior thinking.

Monthly structured sessions with a partner. For teams that need consistent AI engineering input without a full build. Capped capacity.
